The Opportunity

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in engineering? Movie World is seeking an Apprentice Mechanical Tradesperson to participate in on- and off-the-job training, develop skills, and perform duties aligned with department requirements, ensuring the successful completion of your vocational training plan.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Assist tradespeople with rebuilds and repairs
  • Assist with inspection and repair of plant and equipment
  • Complete requisition sheets to maintain inventory levels
  • Follow workshop procedures and keep the workplace safe and organized
  • Complete all learning modules within the required timeframe
  • Report issues affecting workshop operations promptly
  • Work effectively within a team to provide guest service and promote a positive environment
What You'll Bring
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Current Manual Driver's License (advantage)
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Completion of Year 10 Certificate
