Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in gaining practical experience and developing their career in finance.

This is a varied and exciting role where you will gain exposure to all areas of financial management. You will have the opportunity to own key functions such as general ledger management, bank and general ledger account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, debt management, document control, record management, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Management: Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

  • Bank and General Ledger Account Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.

  • Debt Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage debt effectively.

  • Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial documents.

  • Record Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for financial record-keeping.

  • Data Entry: Enter financial data accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: In accounting, finance, or related discipline.

  • Interest in Finance: A genuine interest in gaining practical experience and developing your career.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and problem solve with a solution focus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
