Cost Analysis and Assurance Specialist

At QinetiQ, we are seeking a skilled Cost Analysis and Assurance Officer to join our Advisory Services team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Department of Defence client to maintain and update cost models, providing accurate and effective data to inform Defence decision-makers and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, and demonstrate experience in cost models and analysis in support of complex business commercial arrangements. They will also have contemporary knowledge of developing and applying cost models to facilitate business objectives, as well as the ability to understand and apply finance principles, legislation, and policy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Continual upgrading the client's cost models to provide accurate and effective data.
- Measuring, analysing, interpreting, assessing, and communicating on cost data provided under commercial arrangements.
- Supporting the Cost Assurance Manager in planning, developing, processing, and presenting the Financial Plan and Sustainment Assessment Review process.
- Providing specialist costing advice on tenders or contracts.
