Cost Analysis and Assurance Officer

QinetiQ is seeking a highly skilled Cost Analysis and Assurance Officer to join our Advisory Services team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our clients to provide expert cost analysis and assurance services, supporting the sustainment of major defence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and effective cost models to inform Defence decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Analyse and interpret cost data provided under commercial arrangements with Defence's Industry Partners.
  • Support the Cost Assurance Manager in planning, developing, and presenting the Financial Plan and Sustainment Assessment Review (SAR) process.
  • Provide specialist costing advice on tenders or contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in cost models and analysis in support of complex business commercial arrangements.
  • Contemporary knowledge of developing and applying cost models to facilitate business objectives.
  • Ability to understand and apply finance principles, legislation, and policy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
