Job Opportunity

This position reports to a Senior Manager within the Energy and Sustainability division, Asia Pacific. The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of Equinix's Global Energy and Sustainability strategy in this region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and project management of key energy and renewable energy workstreams across areas such as offsite Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), onsite PPAs, environmental commodities like Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and Green Oceans (GOs), and distributed energy technologies including fuel cells and batteries.
  • Provide analytical support in assessing renewable energy PPA opportunities across the regional area, performing market analysis of sustainability products to meet global goals.
  • Manage consultant relationships and coordinate with internal stakeholders (accounting, treasury, finance, legal) to obtain necessary buy-in and approvals.
  • Negotiate complex and high-value renewable energy agreements (PPAs) with the support of internal and external counsel.
  • Develop marketing material and presentations for distribution to sales teams, executive leadership, and customers.

This role requires heavy collaboration with teams and consultants across various countries and time zones, with occasional travel expected (10-20% of the time). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of renewable energy and sustainability concepts.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage consultant relationships and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
