Compassionate Care Leader

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our care team, providing high-quality and person-centered care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services, managing a team of healthcare professionals, and overseeing individual care plans.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Care Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
  • Care Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
  • Medication Administration: Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
  • Emergency Response: Handle emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.

Requirements:
  • AHPRA Registration: Current AHPRA registration is essential.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in aged care as a registered nurse is required.
  • Qualifications: Grade 5, registered nurse qualifications are necessary.
  • Standards Knowledge: Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards is essential.
  • ANNAC Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC are required.
  • Clinical Excellence: Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence is necessary.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Care Planning: An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation is required.
  • Team Management: Capability to effectively lead and manage a team is necessary.
