Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement HSES Policies and Procedures

Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and sustainability regulations and standards.

Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Provide Expert Advice and Guidance

Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on health, safety, environmental, and sustainability matters.

Lead Incident Investigations

Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

Monitor and Update Policies and Procedures

Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards and update policies and procedures accordingly.

Develop and Deliver Training Programs

Develop and deliver training programs to promote awareness and enhance competencies in health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience in HSES Management

Proven experience in health, safety, environmental, and sustainability management within a manufacturing environment in Australia.

Knowledge of Australian Legislation and Regulations

In-depth knowledge of Australian health, safety, environmental, and sustainability legislation and regulations.

Strong Analytical and Communication Skills

Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across different levels and backgrounds.

Qualifications and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, sustainability, or a related field or equivalent experience. Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or Diploma of Work Health and Safety are advantageous.
