About Our Team

We are seeking a dedicated Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at the Orange Door Hub. The successful candidate will manage referrals, conduct assessments, and respond to the immediate needs of Aboriginal clients seeking support.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering culturally safe, high-quality support to Aboriginal women, children, men, and families. As a Practitioner, you will work closely with our team to provide short-term assistance and connect clients with appropriate services for ongoing support.

Responsibilities
  • Manage referrals and conduct assessments to identify client needs
  • Respond to client requests and provide short-term assistance as required
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
Requirements
  • A degree in social work (or equivalent) or willingness to work toward the qualification in line with our mandatory minimum qualifications policy
  • Minimum two years' experience in the Family Violence sector
  • Valid Police Check, a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee, and a Victorian Driver Licence
