Job Title: Cargo Movement Specialist

Job Description:

The Cargo Movement Specialist is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of cargo. This involves verifying project requirements, selecting carriers, and documenting movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify project scope and confirm project requirements
  • Arrange load out and delivery sequence of project modules
  • Create and upload necessary paperwork
  • Supervise packing efforts and maintain carrier load tenders in TMS
  • Process E-Requester orders for project purchase orders and maintain purchase orders in MRP
  • Verify carrier invoices and address discrepancies
  • Assist with ship loose gathering and packing
  • Facilitate receipt and verify condition of project unit modules and ship loose at site

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and computer literacy
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Positive attitude and safety-first mindset
  • Incoterms proficiency and load planning experience
  • Minimum 5 years of international, domestic, and oversized cargo movement experience
  • Knowledgeable of USDOT requirements and previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting
  • Ability to walk/stand in steel toe boots for long distances/periods of time and lift 50 lbs
  • Fluency in English and ability to travel 25-50%
