Ambulance Transport Attendant Job
">Ambulance transport attendants play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and treatment during the transport of patients with various medical conditions. This includes maintaining positive working relationships with clients, performing patient assessments and interventions, and assessing the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with established guidelines.

Ambulance transport attendants work independently, solving problems within established policies and procedures, and collaborate effectively with team members to maintain understanding of RFDS MPC Policies, procedures, and Non-Emergency Patient Transport Regulations.

">To be successful in this role, you will require relevant qualifications, such as being Qualified as Ambulance Transport Attendant, Ambulance Officer, Ambulance Paramedic, or Division 1 Registered Nurse, and recent graduates from the Diploma of Paramedical Science or Bachelor level education must have completed 400 supervised, clinical on-road placement hours, with logbook evidence in accordance with NEPT guidelines.
">Additional requirements include holding a current Victorian Driver's License (mandatory), the ability to drive in city and rural traffic conditions, experience in the non-emergency patient transport sector, a satisfactory National Police Check completed within the last 6 months, and a Working With Children Check.
