Job Title

The job involves providing seamless handovers for all transfers, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruptions. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to clinical and operational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Handovers: Provide seamless transitions for all transfers, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruptions.
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to clinical and operational policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Safe Driving: Safely operate patient transport vehicles, adhering to respective road laws across Victoria and promoting a culture of safety.
Requirements
  • Certification: Hold a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or Certificate IV in Health Care, or be a Division 2 Registered Nurse or Ambulance Community Officer.
  • Licenses and Checks: Possess a current full driver's licence, good driving record, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate the ability to work professionally as part of a team, communicating effectively and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
