As a transport professional with National Patient Transport Group (NPT), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients across Victoria.
The job involves providing seamless handovers for all transfers, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruptions. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to clinical and operational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Handovers: Provide seamless transitions for all transfers, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruptions.
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to clinical and operational policies and procedures.
- Equipment Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Safe Driving: Safely operate patient transport vehicles, adhering to respective road laws across Victoria and promoting a culture of safety.
- Certification: Hold a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or Certificate IV in Health Care, or be a Division 2 Registered Nurse or Ambulance Community Officer.
- Licenses and Checks: Possess a current full driver's licence, good driving record, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
- Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate the ability to work professionally as part of a team, communicating effectively and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
