Job Overview
We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team, responsible for supporting and influencing positive work health and safety culture and outcomes across multiple locations. This permanent full-time opportunity is based at our Munster site, where you will assist our operations to manage and maintain WHS compliance and systems, as well as support the implementation of H&S initiatives and programs to continually improve our safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to Operations to ensure compliance with H&S legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and standards.
- Develop and deliver H&S training, competency, and communication programs to ensure employees are trained, qualified, and competent, and that effective communication channels exist throughout the organisation.
- Support the development and delivery of H&S plans and initiatives.
- Undertake regular site visits to deliver training, complete site audits, assist key staff in risk assessments, and attend to safety-related matters as required.
