Occupational Therapist

bestchance Child Family Care is seeking an exceptional Registered Occupational Therapist (Level 2-3) to join our dedicated Children's Therapy team. As a key member of our transdisciplinary team, you will work closely with Allied Health professionals to provide high-quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children, to increase their meaningful participation in daily life.

• Provide individual and group clinical work, both in clinic and in the community, to build the capacity of children, families, and communities.
• Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the strengths and challenges of each child, and develop strategies to support their growth and development.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education and support, and empower them to become active participants in their child's therapy.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of occupational therapy.

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Occupational Therapist (Level 2-3).
• Experience working with children as a clinician/therapist within occupational therapy.
• Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
