We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Co-Response Clinician to join our team at Advocates. In this role, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in crisis, working collaboratively with law enforcement to provide essential services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Crisis Intervention Services: Assess individuals in crisis, providing short-term counseling and linkage to community resources.
  • Collaborate with Law Enforcement: Work closely with law enforcement to promote de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and Implement Program Plans: Create and implement individualized program plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document client interactions, progress, and outcomes, utilizing data to inform program development and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Related Field: Possess a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in crisis intervention and mental health services.
  • Clinical Experience: Have a proven track record of providing crisis intervention services, including assessment, counseling, and linkage to community resources.
  • Cultural Competence: Demonstrate cultural competence, understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by diverse populations.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with law enforcement, clients, and other stakeholders.
