Embedded Software Architect

About Morse Micro is redefining wireless connectivity with next-generation Wi-Fi HaLow (IEEE 802.11ah) technology.
You will join a team collaborating across Australia, the US, India, the UK, China, Taiwan, and Japan to build an elegant embedded software architecture for IoT devices.
Main responsibilities include:
- Firmware development for low-cost, RTOS-based devices including 802.11ah upper layers, device drivers, network stack integration, and debugging.
- Implementation of various optimisations for performance, footprint, and power consumption.
- Writing Python scripts to facilitate testing and other tasks.
Apart from technical skills, you'll have some customer interaction, e.g. implementing customer requested features and resolving customer found issues.
Key Qualifications:
- BSc in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or Computer Science.
- 2+ years relevant industry experience in embedded software projects.
- Proven experience in Firmware development using C programming language.
- Experience with ARM Cortex and RISC-V instruction sets and architectures.
