Job Title: Active Directory Expert

We are seeking a seasoned expert in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD to design, implement, and manage directory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD environments for high availability, performance, and security.
  • Administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and compliance policies, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of directory services by ensuring they meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
  • Implement identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions to enhance user experience.
  • Automate identity lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate identity threats and improve overall directory security.
  • Monitor AD and IAM services proactively, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Perform security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for AD environments.
  • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to integrate authentication and authorization services seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce identity governance and protect against unauthorized access.
  • Provide technical documentation and training to support the team's ongoing development.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging identity technologies, industry best practices, and security trends to drive innovation.
  • Recommend and implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) enhancements to boost security posture and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Active Directory, Azure AD, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory design, administration, and troubleshooting, with a proven track record.
  • Experience with Azure AD, AD Connect, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Hands-on experience with Group Policy Management (GPO), Kerberos, LDAP, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
  • Experience implementing SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity federation.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security models, identity governance, and privileged access management (PAM).
  • Familiarity with SIEM, identity analytics, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
