Job Role: Directory Services Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, and related identity services. Our ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing, optimizing, and automating identity and access management (IAM) solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD environments to support the organization's security and operational requirements.
  • Administer and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and compliance policies.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of directory services through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Implement and manage identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions to enhance user experience and security.
  • Automate identity lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC), using PowerShell scripting for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate identity threats, ensuring the highest level of directory security.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Active Directory, Azure AD, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory design, administration, and troubleshooting, with a deep understanding of Kerberos, LDAP, and DNS protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD, AD Connect, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect, as well as Group Policy Management (GPO) and PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust security models, identity governance, and privileged access management (PAM), with familiarity with SIEM, identity analytics, and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IAM infrastructure to ensure seamless user experiences and robust security measures.
