Assistant Director of Nursing 1 Psychiatric

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing 1 Psychiatric to join our team at the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our nursing services, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by our nursing staff, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Ensure that our nursing department is staffed with qualified and competent professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in nursing and at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 (Psychiatric). You must also be licensed and registered as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
