Performance Analyst Job Description

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and operate frameworks for Net Interest Income (NII) & FTP that underpin our internal view of margin performance.
  • Analyse product pricing, portfolio mix, rate changes, and customer behaviour to drive margin optimisation.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, and business units to align FTP and forecast assumptions with market rates, hedging strategies, and interest rate risk positions.
  • Support the technical implementation of model and methodology changes reflecting updated product behaviour, interest rate assumptions, or liquidity cost allocations.

This is a permanent position open to full or part-time work with flexible options to suit our people.

What We're Looking For
  • A bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Business, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science preferred.
  • Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience at an Australian bank preferably in a finance function.
  • Familiarity with bank balance sheets, banking book systems, FTP, IRRBB data, operations, and products.
  • Experience with SQL Server for data analysis, reporting, and process automation desirable.
