Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled wastewater treatment plant operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of our reticulated water and wastewater systems.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Participating in safe job planning, team meetings, and workplace inspections;
  • Demonstrating leadership by ensuring all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority;
  • Operating, maintaining, monitoring, and repairing water and wastewater assets and operational sites;
  • Participating in overtime and rosters as required;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III National Water Package or willingness to work towards;
  • Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) – relevant vaccinations required;
  • Experience with SAP operating system;
  • Western Australian MR or higher Class Drivers Licence;
  • Current Confined Space, Working at Heights and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets;
  • Experience in water supply and wastewater systems;
  • Ability to work a rotating roster;
