Job Title:

MLOps Engineering Lead


About the Role:

This position requires a highly skilled professional to lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a distributed team of engineers and its MLOps portfolio
  2. Organize and lead the team's processes to achieve its objectives
  3. Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members
  4. Identify and measure team health indicators
  5. Interact with a vibrant community
  6. Review code produced by other engineers
  7. Mentor and grow direct reports, helping them achieve their professional goals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of software delivery experience
  • Professional Python development experience, preferably with open-source contributions
  • A deep understanding of the machine learning space, its challenges, and opportunities to improve
  • Experience designing and implementing MLOps solutions

Desirable Skills:

The following skills may be beneficial but are not required:

  • Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries or tools
  • Proven track record of building highly automated machine learning solutions for the cloud
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing
