As a key member of the project team, this role will be working closely with the Project Manager to perform a range of activities including:
- Assisting the project to establish technical writing principles and guidelines.
- Developing and maintaining documentation for business management system processes and minimum document requirements.
- Optimizing current business management system documents and ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant.
This role involves developing and maintaining close working relationships with business management system subject matter experts and content owners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- The establishment of:
- Document type hierarchical structure and minimum document requirements.
- Technical writing principles and framework for business management system content.
- Document lifecycle processes for developing, reviewing, publishing, and abolishing documents.
- Work closely with business management system subject matter experts (SMEs) and content owners to develop and review professionally published documents by:
- Applying established principles and guidelines.
- Summarizing technical content into easy-to-read and comprehensible language and format with a focus on content end users.
- Utilizing language that is aligned to relevant legislation and regulations.
- Utilizing established style guides and templates.
- Ensuring content is accessible and complies with departmental writing guidelines.
**Desired Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in communication or a related field.
- Technical writing experience and a strong understanding of business management systems.
