Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in emergency management, public safety, or a related field is essential. Alternatively, experience in a similar role with a willingness to obtain a diploma may be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of key legislation, including Emergency Management Act 2013, and its principles is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is necessary to drive success in this role.
  • Skills in continuous improvement, team building, and development of technical service levels are highly valued.
  • Project management experience and knowledge of business continuity are also essential.
  • A current Working with Children Check, Victorian Driver's Licence, and National Police Check are mandatory requirements.
