This position involves working with control systems and instrument engineers to plan, execute and troubleshoot modifications, identify field device issues and propose improvements in efficiency and production.
- Responsibilities include delivering stable process operation, developing advanced process control applications and optimizing LNG plant performance.
- Maintain and improve APC applications using Aspen DMC3 software.
- Manage changes safely through established MOC and ACR processes.
Candidates must have relevant process engineering or controls engineering experience, preferably in an operating facility and/or chemical plant/refinery.
- Experience with Advanced Process Control, preferably DMC3 or other relevant APC packages.
- Familiarity with Yokogawa Centum VP or other control systems, as well as demonstrated skills in writing code, data analytics and IT automation.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering - chemical/process, instrument & controls or a relevant discipline.
