Job Opportunity in Aged Care

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide support and care to older adults in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live, known as domestic assistance
  • Assisting with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other daily tasks
  • Providing social support and transportation to activities and appointments
  • Personal care including getting them ready for the day, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, and managing medication
  • Offering respite and emotional support to our customers
  • Accompanying customers to appointments and providing companionship
  • Delivering complex care for customers with high needs, such as dementia

What do we look for in a Care Worker?

  • You care deeply about supporting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You hold a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle - travel is an essential part of the role.
  • You remain calm under pressure; sometimes customers may be experiencing difficulties or traffic delays. You understand not to take this personally and to manage your emotions before the next customer.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday. No night or weekend work is required.
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday challenges, knowing when to seek guidance from your Manager.
