Job Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest for five independent members to join the RAA Advisory Board in 2026.

About the Role:

The NSW Government, through the NSW Rural Assistance Authority (RAA), is looking for individuals with expertise in banking or finance, farm management, social welfare, rural counselling, conservation, or other relevant areas. As an independent member, you will represent farmers and contribute to strategic plans and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide objective advice and contributions to collective advice.
  • Facilitate frank and open discussion to ensure individual members make an effective contribution.
Requirements:
  • Senior Executive, Leadership, or Board Chair experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and contribute to collective advice.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Prequalification under the NSW Government's Prequalification Scheme - Audit and Risk Committee Independent Chairs and Members desirable but not essential.
