About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled MEI Project Engineer to join our team. As an MEI Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of our road tunnel projects. This includes leading and contributing to all phases of the project, from preliminary planning and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover of critical infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead and contribute to all phases of the project, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
- Procurement & Contract Management: Manage the successful delivery of MEI packages, including drafting and managing tender documentation, evaluating tenders, and overseeing subcontractor contracts.
- System Design & Engineering: Review design documents, perform constructability and commissioning reviews, and ensure compliance with project-specific requirements, codes, and regulations.
- Project Delivery & Management: Develop and submit construction and commissioning work packs, manage subcontractor budgets, and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations, and conduct quality assurance inspections.
- Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license: Highly desirable.
- Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
