About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sales Development Manager to join our team at Zendesk. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our sales organisation by recruiting, inspiring, training, and leading a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a high-performing team of SDRs and BDRs, providing coaching and development opportunities to drive career growth and sales success.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations, to align on sales goals and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments, applying this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Measure and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive sales success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales leadership, with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong sales skills, with a deep understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and drive business decisions.
