Business Systems Analyst for Efficient Operations

At SECURITY ONE 2 ONE PTY LTD, we are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in improving business processes and systems. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, end-users, and IT teams, to understand and document business goals, needs, and challenges.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and drive solutions that improve business processes and enhance system performance.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline processes and reduce manual workloads.
  • Work with the business to implement technology-based solutions that align with business requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Ensure that all requirements are clearly defined, accurately documented, and agreed upon by relevant stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 2-3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the ICT sector or related industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and frameworks, such as SWOT and BPMN.
  • Experience working with business process modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in agile project environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in creating documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Visio: Proficient in creating flow diagrams, process models, and system workflows.
  • BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation): Familiarity with BPMN standards for modeling business processes.
  • Jira: Knowledge of using Jira to manage requirements, track user stories, and organize tasks in an Agile environment.
  • Confluence: Proficiency in using Confluence for documentation purposes, such as maintaining project wikis, requirement specifications, and meeting notes.
  • AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Basic knowledge of cloud services, particularly in areas like hosting, storage, and computing, to understand how business systems may be integrated with cloud technologies.
