Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Attendant to join our team at Sofitel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery to maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pantry, fridges, and freezers to ensure efficient food storage and preparation.
  • Assist senior chefs in food preparation and presentation to meet the high standards of our culinary team.
  • Ensure the rotation and stock management of pantry, fridge, and freezer items to prevent spoilage and waste.
  • Assist with the receiving and storing of stock to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Service-oriented individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Able to work independently with demonstrated initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a flexible attitude towards working a rotating roster of morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
