The primary role of a Student Ambassador is to enhance the student educational experience by undertaking tasks that promote UNSW's undergraduate degrees.
As a Student Ambassador, you will be the first contact that prospective and current students have with UNSW. You will participate in promotional events and activities, provide degree information, and offer a perspective on university life. This role requires you to welcome guests and visitors, provide general assistance, and support campus tours for prospective students and visitors while providing information about facilities, accommodation, support services, and educational experiences.
To succeed in this role, you must actively participate in on-the-job training for relevant duties and cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university. You are required to take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in promotional events and activities
- Provide degree information and a perspective on university life
- Welcome guests and visitors
- Support campus tours for prospective students and visitors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
International students who are available for one of the following interview time slots: 5:00-6:30pm Wednesday November 6th, 3:30-5:00pm Thursday November 7th. You must also be available on Wednesday February 5th and Thursday February 6th, 2025 for compulsory training. Working with Children's Check is also required for this position.
