Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our organization in the role of Cleaner - Working Alone. This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025.

The Role
  • Clean and maintain internal areas including floors, toilets, furniture, windows, and other general cleaning tasks.
  • Perform external cleaning duties such as veranda maintenance, rubbish removal, drinking trough cleaning, window cleaning, and other general cleaning tasks.

The successful applicant will be responsible for completing vacation cleaning duties, including floor stripping and sealing, window cleaning, carpet shampooing, and other tasks outlined in the Fundamentals of Cleaning Guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Secure the school premises, including setting the security alarm system.
  • Liaise with Corporate Services on all cleaning matters.
  • Conduct regular cleaning inspections with Corporate Services.
  • Manage hazardous substances in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
  • Consent to a National Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the relevant authorities before starting work.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
