Senior Educator Position

The role of a Senior Educator is to lead educational programs and ensure the safety and inclusivity of children. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of an early learning center, where educators work collaboratively to create engaging and effective learning experiences for young minds.

Responsibilities
  • Promote exceptional educational programs by leading a team of educators and overseeing daily operations within your designated room.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through active collaboration with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader, ensuring that teaching practices remain innovative and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Ensure that learning experiences are tailored to meet the diverse needs of all children, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
  • An in-depth understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, which serve as the foundation for our educational programs.
  • A current Western Australia Working with Children Check, ensuring the highest standards of child safety and well-being.
