Job Description

We are seeking a talented leader to manage our Erskine Park Distribution Centre in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and team development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the distribution centre's operation, including safety, infrastructure, daily processes, and team development.

  • Manage the distribution centre's safety protocols and foster a safe working environment.
  • Plan and execute improvement measures to enhance operational delivery, efficiency, and brand/product operating requirements.
  • Ensure profitability through sound budgeting principles and effective cost management.
  • Develop the team's capability across DC operations, including managers, shift managers, and team managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a leader who prioritizes safety and people development.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in leading warehouses and/or distribution centres, preferably in retail or FMCG.
  • Expertise in safety leadership, including PCBU requirements.
  • Leadership experience in managing large teams (50+) and senior manager roles.
  • KPI management skills to ensure key metrics are met while maintaining team well-being.
  • Knowledge of implementing continuous improvement programs or methodologies.
  • Experience in commercial management, including budget building and active cost management.
  • Ability to build high-performing and engaged teams.
