About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Telstra Purple. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-level complex IT projects from creation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure adherence to project plans and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive and reactive risk management strategies are in place.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, and to adapt to changing project requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business operations, technology, and industry trends.
