Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales funnel and undertake business development activities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Proactively engage existing and new customers to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Liaise with workshop and depots to ensure optimal delivery and exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide day-to-day leadership to team members on all customer satisfaction and operational issues.
  • Schedule 'jobs' in conjunction with the operations team and manage changes or disruptions to planned logistics.
  • Ensure scheduling meets compliance and safety obligations.
Requirements
  • Previous transport, logistics, or supply chain sales or account management and planning experience.
  • An understanding of the transportation and logistics industry, including knowledge of regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Proficiency in software systems relating to office communication, planning, and scheduling, CRM, and sales processing.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
