Job Title: Power Plant Technician

We are seeking a skilled Power Plant Technician to support our field team in operating and maintaining a range of plant and equipment.

This is a full-time role with competitive pay, overtime, and allowances. If you have experience in civil, utilities, or electrical industries and a strong commitment to workplace safety, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating machinery and equipment including EWPs, cranes, and earthmoving plant
  • Supporting electricians and linesmen with site preparation and network works
  • Conducting routine checks and maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Ensuring safe work practices are followed at all times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Plant Operator / High Risk Work licence (e.g. EWP, dogging, crane, forklift)
  • An HC truck licence
  • Experience in civil, utilities, or electrical industries preferred
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety
