About the Role

Ensuring workplace safety and efficiency is paramount in today's fast-paced industrial environment. As a Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator, you will play a vital role in implementing and managing LOTO programs to safeguard personnel and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procedure Development: Create, implement, and maintain up-to-date LOTO procedures for various equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document all site LOTO-related activities, training sessions, and audit results to facilitate informed decision-making and optimize processes.
  • Site Coordination: Collaborate with teams across affected work areas to ensure seamless execution of LOTO protocols and resolve any arising issues promptly.
  • Training and Communication: Deliver comprehensive training sessions on LOTO procedures to ensure all affected personnel are adequately equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Incident Investigation and Resolution: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents related to LOTO failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven ability to drive project success by prioritizing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Experience in developing and implementing lockout/tagout procedures, preferably in construction and/or electrical maintenance environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of safety regulations and standards, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach, able to influence others to prioritize safety and contribute to a positive work environment.
