Housekeeping Supervisor Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our property, ensuring guest comfort at all times. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team and provide extraordinary service.

About the Role:

  • Mentor team members to deliver outstanding service and achieve exceptional results.
  • Oversee daily work activities, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and exceeding guest expectations.
  • C coordinate shifts, adhering to department procedures and company standards to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct daily meetings with team members to discuss shift activities and address any issues promptly.
  • Provide effective handovers between shifts, communicating requirements for subsequent shifts to ensure continuity.
  • Assist in roster planning to achieve optimal team numbers within budget constraints.
  • Implement special cleaning projects regularly to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with HR to organize skill training for housekeeping team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools to excel in their roles.
  • E nsure compliance with OH&S procedures and emergency protocols, training team members accordingly to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Foster communication with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient room changes.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain all areas of the property to ensure Health and Safety regulations are met and exceeded.
  • Manage housekeeping inventory, including chemicals, linen, and supplies, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of lost property to facilitate quick returns to guests and ensure a positive experience.
