Key Account Manager Job DescriptionAbout this Role

This role involves managing some of our largest customers' existing accounts, winning new business and expanding our customer base.

In collaboration with the Sales Manager, you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder through innovation, continuous improvement and efficiencies.

The primary focus for this role is driving new business opportunities to support branch growth. You will be highly motivated and target driven to achieve results.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen willingness to learn with an innate ability to connect with new customers and close sales. They'll have a genuine passion for listening to customers' needs and providing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage key customer relationships and win new business to expand our customer base.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive new business opportunities and support branch growth.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to promote innovation, continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent business development skills.
  • Pasion for customer service and building rapport with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Resilience and competitiveness in a challenging market.
  • Experience in reinforcing steel or background in concrete, construction or building materials is desirable.
