Site Supervisor - Tier 2 Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and communicating effectively with the project team.

The Site Supervisor will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of finishes and facade packages on large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising all construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Oversee the excavation, structure, and finishes phases of the project
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Monitor project progress and report to the Site Manager on a regular basis
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff, preparing them for future leadership roles

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman delivering projects in excess of $50m
  • Previous experience with a Tier 1-2 construction companies
  • Experience with finishes and facade on previous projects
  • Good proven tenure at previous companies
  • Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects
  • A can-do attitude and good work ethic
  • Ability to effectively lead a team and solve problems under pressure
