Electrical Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance of electronic equipment in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality electronic repairs and maintenance services, including equipment overhauls, service work, and ongoing customer support.
  • Inspect and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults and determine the root cause.
  • Examine equipment and parts for damage and diagnose possible reasons for failure, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintain machines, equipment, and instruments to optimal working condition.
  • Produce, assemble/reassemble, test, and adjust electrical and mechanical diesel-powered DC & AC generator sets, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability and efficiency, driving business growth through enhanced operations.
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification and hands-on experience with repairs or assembly of mechanical and/or electrical equipment in a workshop environment.
  • Proficiency in using general workshop tools and equipment, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • A willingness to take on and complete tasks efficiently, prioritizing deadlines and deliverables.
  • Discipline to only do things right, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Determination to complete difficult tasks, overcoming challenges and achieving results.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, providing clear updates and insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, fostering collaboration and mutual support.
  • Appreciation of workshop housekeeping, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
