Job Overview:

We are a global leader in onshore renewables, dedicated to safely delivering affordable, reliable, large-scale renewable and energy storage solutions to help the world decarbonize.

This role will be responsible for achieving grid connections required by our projects in Australia, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Provide assistance during project development by identifying factors influencing and influenced by grid connections.
  • Manage and submit grid applications, including relevant information required by DNSPs & TNSPs, submitted in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate with NSPs & AEMO throughout the review process of Grid connection application.
  • Manage the review process for grid connection offers to ensure they meet our requirements.
  • Create and maintain framework agreements with ICPs and equipment suppliers to ensure we have the required delivery capacity at the appropriate commercial terms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Grid in all states at both DNSP & TNSP levels.
  • Experience in negotiating legal and commercial aspects of connection contracts.
  • Commercially astute with good network of contacts across the TNSP and AEMO environment.
  • Established relationships with DNSPs, TNSPs & AEMO.
  • Previous experience in design/construction and operation of PV solar plant.
  • Proven track record & experienced in a similar role for minimum of 5 years.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Attained an education, ideally a degree in Electrical and/or Power Engineering but other relative qualifications and supporting working experience would be considered.
