About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Environmental Strategist and Operations Manager to spearhead our sustainability initiatives and drive environmental excellence across our operations.

This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive sustainability frameworks, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to achieve our environmental goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing sustainable practices that minimize our environmental footprint and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability principles into our business strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards our sustainability objectives.
  • Working closely with our project delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are met and to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements in customer projects.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in environmental management in a construction or heavy industry environment.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing sustainability strategies across large organizations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing environmental management systems to the ISO14001 standard.
  • Strong partnerships with executive leadership teams to establish sustainability frameworks, goals, and targets.
