About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Gosford. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and assistance with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions.

What We Look for in a Care Worker

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about assisting our aged community and has a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle. If you are a caring and compassionate individual who is available to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, we encourage you to apply.

What to Expect

When you apply, we will send you a link to a short online assessment from Vervoe to give you an insight into a day in the life of our Home Care Worker. Before joining our team, we will perform a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment on your behalf, as well as confirming evidence of COVID vaccination.
