About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Gosford. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and assistance with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia.

What We Look for in a Care Worker

We are looking for someone who:

Cares about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.Has a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle - travel is part of the role.Is able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask their Manager for help.Is available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday. No night or weekend work here.
