The Opportunity

We are seeking a Corporate Barista to join our team in a permanent full-time position. Based in the Perth CBD, you will be working in our corporate in-house café and will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily management of the café, including coffee preparation, sales, ordering, and new innovations.
  • Working alongside the Corporate Chef to provide a well-balanced, nutritious, and tasty food menu.
  • Managing café communications, documentation, financial reconciliation, and reports.
  • Providing ongoing coffee training, support, and knowledge to other staff.
  • Assisting the Client Services Manager with administration and reporting tasks.
  • Providing waiter service for meetings, including set-up, clearing, and cleaning of meeting and seminar rooms during busy periods.
  • Job Sharing Responsibilities: Collaborating with team members to share duties and responsibilities, ensuring continuity and coverage during absences or peak periods.
  • Providing assistance to clients and staff with audio visual and video conferencing needs.
  • Providing waiter and bar service for after-hours meetings and events.
  • Assisting the servery, reception, and kitchen as required, including after-hours support.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Excellent composure with the ability to prioritise and problem-solve under pressure.
  • Punctual, reliable, and highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • High-level client focus with demonstrated ability to act with diplomacy and maintain confidentiality.
  • Successfully plan your own workload to ensure prompt service of customers.
  • Maintain accurate profit and loss records.
  • Develop menus, appropriate to season, with consideration to kitchen preparation and corporate environment. Immaculate presentation, in compliance with dress standards.
