About the Role

This exciting role is for a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse to join our Marion Psychosis Team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality care to consumers with psychotic illnesses, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement evidence-based practices and quality management initiatives, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
  • Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration in consumers, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Conduct physical health assessments and identify potential physical health concerns, escalating these to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Manage consumer case loads, working closely with consumers to achieve optimal wellbeing outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within a team framework.
  • Have demonstrated competence in mental health nursing practice, aligned with relevant standards.
  • For the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level, applicants must have at least three years' post-registration experience, including leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a base salary range of $72,651 - $99,129 (pro rata) for RN1 and $84,870 - $107,279 (pro rata) for RN2C. In addition, we provide opportunities for salary packaging, flexible working arrangements, and professional development.
