The Senior Design Engineer - Solar role requires the conceptual and detailed engineering of solar projects. This involves developing specifications and collaborating with management to address any engineering concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision.
  • Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas.
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities.
  • Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Assist in preparing forecasts and project constructability.
  • Supervise commissioning activities with site teams.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy or a related field. They should have extensive experience in solar PV engineering with a strong background in utility-scale solar projects up to 100MW.

  • Proficiency in PVSyst, Cymcap, PVCase, RatedPower PV Design.
  • Strong analytical thinking, effective problem-solving and clear communication.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in diverse teams managing multiple projects and maintaining strategic focus.
  • Open to travel for site-based work as needed.
