Job Overview

This role requires a hands-on professional to oversee the entire estimating and contracts administration process for luxury residential projects.

  • The ideal candidate will develop accurate cost estimates by analyzing architectural plans, specifications, and project documentation.
  • They will also prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labor estimates for various trades and scopes of work.
  • Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts, such as subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations.
  • Additionally, they will assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers.
  • Key responsibilities also involve monitoring project costs, tracking variations, and providing accurate and timely reports on project financials.
  • They will manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' experience as an Estimator/Contract Administrator on architecturally designed residential projects is required.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential - able to identify inconsistencies or issues early.
  • Proficiency using Procore is also necessary.
  • A proactive and accountable approach is expected, with the ability to manage time effectively and deliver reliably.
